Lacuna _ Lacey Bryant solo exhibition in San Francisco

20 Years of Snow, oil on canvas, 72" x 47", 2014

KALEID Gallery's Lacey Bryant recently opened her solo exhibition Lacuna at the Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco. On view is an incredible body of work enveloping imagery that is as familiar as they are surreal, exploring gaps in memory and wondering how much is real, versus "made up" within our imaginations. Lacey's continued theme of home, objects that comfort us and fascinate us, and the triggers of awakening our past within us, are all there in compelling visual narrative and beautifully executed vignettes that make fuzzy remembrances a profound place to linger.

Exhibition dates: July 12–August 9, 2014
Modern Eden Gallery
403 Francisco Street (@ Powell Street)
San Francisco, CA

Regular Gallery Hours: 10a - 6p Tuesday - Saturday
