Corpus Callosum: Songwriters Avery Burke and Dax Tran-Caffee collaborate with musicians Stevie Hryciw, Qarly Canant, Andrea Craver, Jason Samaha and Stephanie Bailey. This ensemble composes songs using traditional instruments such as accordion, reed organ, banjo, glockenspiel, mandolin and guitar, more obscure instruments like the singing saw, theremin, wash bucket bass and glass goblets and common objects such as pots and pans, pickaxes, children's toys, a kitchen blender and sheet metal. As much performance art as music, a Corpus Callosum concert showcases an array of puppetry, stilt-walking, kinetic sculpture, and other uncanny imagery to complement and embellish the sound.

Spirits of the Red City plays with the airy intimacy and elegance of a minimalist duo, with wistful themes and relatively spare orchestrations: a simple cello line, a gently strummed guitar or lonely fiddle. Spirits of the Red City singer Will Garrison has a whiskey-soaked voice that's a little weary but full of honesty and passion." - National Public Radio

DeatHat is a torchrock duo from San Jose. DeatHat was forged by Kate Saturday and Erik Ostrom on the anvil of folk rock from equal parts traditional celtic music, smoky jazz a la Nina Simone, and the experimental and found percussion of Einsturzende Neubauten or Xiu Xiu. The resulting contraptions is as comfortable on tuning forks as it is on marimba. It sings from two mouths, it dances with four hands, and its like has never before been seen upon this green earth.

A Duet Behind the Wallpaper: Andrea Craver and Stephanie Bailey debut their collaboration of performance and music for furniture. Accompanied by Stevie Hryciw, they build a home.
