CallForEntry.org workshop April 3rd

cafelogo.jpg

CaFÉ is a non profit website that helps artists and public art administrators centralize and organize their calls for entry. It's easy to register, and has lots of posts on public art calls all over the region.

There's a free workshop for artists to help you master the online application process thru CaFE:

Artists at all levels of professional development are encouraged to attend this workshop to learn how to use CaFÉ , the web-based application system that enables artists to apply online to multiple calls for entry through a central website, www.callforentry.org. This application system is now being used by many public art programs in the Bay Area and nationwide.

CaFÉ staff will present a step-by-step introduction on how to use their application system, including how to set-up a new artist's profile and how to apply for a project or multiple projects.A professional photographer will provide guidance on how to take high-quality digital photographs and how to format digital images.

The workshop will also include brief presentations from Bay Area public art administrators on their current or upcoming public art opportunities.
