TWO BUCK art sale July 21st at KALEID

KALEID Gallery & the Two Buck Tuesday Crew presents:

TWO BUCK TUESDAYS - July 21st

An all day $2 art sale and quirky speaker series (6-8pm) on the third Tuesday of the month.

12noon - 8pm: $2 art all day

6pm -8pm: interesting people speaker series- 10mns each, with additional performances and demos before and after the speakers.

Speakers:

Darius B’Alexander will host a fold-along and teach us how to control wrinkles to create non-traditional origami

Control- sculptor Bernie Ross will talk about how an artist needs control: control of self, control of materials, and control of skills.

Michael Foley will provide an introduction on how linocuts began and how they are still used today. Followed by a live demonstration on how to make your very own linocut. Examples will be prepared in advance for each attendee to take home with them.

Before / after speaker series entertainment:

Yumi Miyagawa will be playing Melodica Jazz with accompaniment by Gianfranco Paolozzi.

Keith "I Throw Things" Bummell will be demonstrating clay throwing.
