On Fri Aug 1 Bay Area artists and artisans will exhibit their work at beautifully renovated Courthouse Square in the heart of the downtown Redwood City.

Presented by the Redwood City Civic Cultural Commission and the Redwood City Redevelopment Agency, Art on the Square's juried outdoor shows complement Music on the Square, the city's popular Friday evening summer concert series.

See painting, sculpture, photography, glass, fiber, jewelry, ceramics and more by fantastic local artists. At each show there will be a drawing for gift certificates that can be "spent" in any artist's booth.

Enjoy the Friday evening art shows from 5 - 8:30 pm on:
- August 1 with Vegas style New Morty Show, and on
- September 19 with salsa rock band La Ventana, and all day Sept 20 at the first annual Redwood City Salsa Festival

Redwood City is an epicenter for the arts with new galleries (including Phantom Galleries!) and great places to hear live music.
