Tamar Belson at Red Berry Cafe

Acrylic paintings by Tamar Belson at Red Berry Cafe

"In this series of paintings I used basic colors and their combinations to create a play of contrasts. Warm and cold colors, lines and shapes on colorful surfaces and circles on squares - being some of them. I am always attracted to the powerful interaction between these contrasts and offer the viewer a surprising and vivid outcome." ~Tamar Belson

Tamar Belson was born and raised in Israel. She earned a civil engineering degree from the Technion, Israel in 1991 and worked as an engineer in the following years. In 1998, Tamar and her family moved to California, where she studied photography and art.?She lives in Los Altos, California with her husband and four sons and actively pursues further development as an artist.
