Drawing / Sketching Event for National Turnoff Week at B&N

Local artist Laura Callin Bennett will lead a Drawing/Sketching Event at Barnes & Noble Stevens Creek. She will teach a demonstration about drawing the human face and figure in proportion, and then will be available for questions and advice during a free-draw session. Materials will be provided, but feel free to bring your own, as well as your previous work, to share with others. All ages welcome!

The drawing event is part of the bookstore's week-long celebration of National Turnoff Week. The goal of Turnoff Week is to encourage people to power down their televisions and computers - and connect with family, friends, and the community through activities like drawing and reading.
