Flo Oy Wong's DEconstruct/REconstruct Workshop

Following the success of Flo Oy Wong’s doll-making workshop, which had a transformative effect on everyone who participated, the Asian Pacific Islander Cultural Center is proud to present the second workshop in our INSPIRE/ASPIRE series: DEconstruct/REconstruct.

Find your creativity through the process of tearing something apart and then making something new out of it. Come join artist Flo Oy Wong for an evening of DEconstructing objects such as cloth rice sacks, small boxes, paper clips, nails, and utensils, etc. and REconstructing them in a new configuration. There will also some body movement and deep breathing exercises to DEconstruct and REconstruct your creativity and imagination.

Wednesday, April 15, 6:30-9 PM
Somarts Cultural Center, 2nd Floor Studio
934 Brannan Street, between 8th and 9th Sts., San Francisco

Sliding scale: $25 - $50
RSVP by April 8th to info@apiculturalcenter.org
