Inklings at Double Punch SF

KALEID artists Mark Damrel, Andy Gouveia, and Pellet (aka Kyle Perera), along with Ryan De La Hoz (Deli), are all in a group show at Double Punch in San Francisco called Inklings.

Inklings is a group show that embodies the unique personality and characteristics that artists are able to give their ideas, simply by putting pen to paper. Inked pieces can create a broad range of feelings from the action of a comic panel to the intimacy and spontaneity of napkin sketch. Most great ideas start with a sketch, and sometimes the finest ones are completed not with canvas and paint, but with bristol board and a good pen. With the wide range of tools that technology has given artists over the years, Inklings is a nod to the old school; a reminder of the importance of foundations and remembering art’s roots.
